MINISTRY TEAMS

Our Caring Team seeks to care for our St Martin's community through love and action, responding to the needs of our church family. Members of the team assist with visiting parishioners, cooking meals for our caring freezer, helping people with their shopping, administering communion, making cards and agape gifts, making phone calls and supporting small groups.

The Philadelphia Cafe opens after our 6:00pm service for those who want to grab a meal and hang out with others. Members of the team assist with setting up the hall, cooking and serving meals and helping out with games nights.

The members of our Prayer Ministry Team assist with praying for the needs of church members and visitors at our Sunday services, courses, quiet days and weekends away. The members of our SMS and Confidential Prayer Chains pray for more immediate needs as they arise and during their daily quiet times.

The members of our Preaching Team take turns preaching at our church services and preparing study materials for our small groups. They also have a Preacher's Forum that meets from to time for training and group discussion.

Our Readers and Prayers assist at our Sunday morning services with Bible readings and prayers for the church and the world.

Our Service Leaders and Lay Ministers assist with various aspects of our Sunday services, including the welcome, confession, notices, peace, collection and communion.

We have more than 20 small groups that meet at various times and locations during the week for teaching, fellowship and prayer. Our team of small group leaders are responsible for pastoring groups of approximately 6-12 people, leading meetings and ensuring that the members of their groups are cared for and growing in their faith.

The members of our Welcome Team play a very important role at our Sunday services as they're often the first faces that people see, especially visitors. They assist with greeting newcomers, making them feel welcome and answering any questions they might have. The members of our Hospitality Team assist with a number of duties at our Sunday services, including the setting up of the church, greeting people at the door, handing out pew leaflets, taking collection, directing people during communion and filling in the service register.

Our Worship Team consists of worship leaders, singers, musicians, sound technicians and media operators who assist with leading worship at our church services, youth meetings and special events.

Our team of YPC leaders and helpers assist with running our children's ministry preparing teaching materials, leading groups, doing crafts and playing games ensuring that all our young people have the opportunity to discover and know Jesus.

Our team of youth leaders assist at YouthCell and Friday night Youth meetings with worship, group discussions, prayer ministry and pastoring our teenagers, under the guidance of our Youth Pastors.
